About the roles offered
We are seeking two experienced, enthusiastic Farm Hands for our irrigated farming operation in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. These positions are offered on a full-time basis commencing immediately. Reporting to the Cropping Manager, your key duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Operation and maintenance of various farm machinery, vehicles, tools and equipment;
  • Hay baling and silage production from centre-pivot irrigated crops;
  • Carrying out general property maintenance and repairs;
  • Adherence to safe operating procedures.

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Competent operation of various farm machinery/equipment and it’s servicing & maintenance; 
  • A strong knowledge of centre pivot farming practices;
  • Basic mechanical, welding and fencing knowledge;
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to working safely;
  • Ability to record information and communicate effectively in the workplace;
  • Ability to work well independently and in a small team;
  • Hold a current Class C driver’s licence (truck licence an advantage) and various other machinery operator accreditations or experience;
  • A genuine passion for farming, the beef industry, mosaic agriculture, and working in a regional rural location.
