New Bannister Downs Products Launched at Bunbury Farmers Market

Co-owners of Bunbury Farmers Markets (BFM), Kevin Opferkuch and Graham Heath, together with BFM CEO Keith Johnston, were delighted to welcome Gina Rinehart and her party to BFM on Sunday evening and were excited to see BFM stocking 2GR Wagyu products and Kidman Beef and Pies.

BFM is the first store in West Australia to receive the newly launched 2 litre Bannister Downs Dairy farm fresh milk, lite milk, and lactose free milk. The 2 litre milk is an innovative product, with Bannister being the first dairy company in Australia to use 100% recycled 2 litre packaging, with an easy to use handle grip.

The co-owners advised that the new products were so quick to leave the shelves, they had to put some away to be able to display for Mrs Rinehart’s visit and photo opportunity.

BFM will also be first to receive Rinehart’s truffles next year. The Rinehart party was also pleased to visit both its 2GR Wagyu and Kidman products, including the delicious Kidman Pies.

BFM announced that on Christmas Eve they would provide customers with $10 vouchers for every $100 spent as a Christmas gift from Mrs Rinehart and as thank you for supporting Australian agriculture.

Hancock Prospecting’s investment in BFM will enable it to accelerate growth plans, including the development of the recently announced Vasse Village Bunbury Farmers Market, which will incorporate a gluten free kitchen, set to open in late 2024.

Additional locations, including Perth will also allow new customers to enjoy the unique BFM experience. This investment will provide further opportunities for BFM’s employees, farmers, and consumers to benefit from planned future growth.
