Ian Plimer warns net zero is hurting Australia’s economy

Professor Ian Plimer argued that Australia is not leading meaningful environmental action, but instead weakening its economy through net zero policies and costly international climate commitments. He contrasted Australia’s approach with energy debates in Germany and the United States, saying countries that embrace affordable, reliable energy can strengthen industry, create skilled jobs and improve living standards. Plimer said Australia is blessed with coal, gas and uranium, but is failing to use its resources to rebuild productivity and prosperity.
