Hancock Prospecting Executive Chairman, Mrs Gina Rinehart, recently got into the Christmas spirit with a festive visit today to Vasse Farmers Market celebrating the one year opening anniversary, alongside Farmers Market managers, Leith Johnston, Sammie Aldis, and Megan Corrie-Pulford, and lending enthusiasm to local growers, producers and small businesses in the South West.
Whilst filling her cart, Mrs Rinehart took time to chat with staff and shoppers, and to thank the hardworking people who help keep Australian families fed during the busy holiday season.
From fresh West Australian produce to gourmet Christmas treats, the visit highlighted the importance of backing regional businesses and choosing local wherever possible. Vasse Village by Bunbury Farmers Market is renowned for showcasing the best of the South West.
Hancock Prospecting is proud to operate in West Australia and support the regional areas where our people live and work. We thank the managers; Leith Johnston, Sammie Aldis, and Megan Corrie-Pulford, and team at Vasse Farmers Market for their warm welcome and for everything they do to champion local produce!
Mrs Rinehart said, she has heard people from Sydney say they only wish they had a farmers market as good as the one at Vasse! Mrs Rinehart added, “At Vasse Farmers Market where the food is beautifully taken care of, all who work here, and the farmers supplying, can be proud of what they achieve day after day, a really fantastic place to shop for beautifully presented, top quality fresh produce.”
We wish all managers, employees, suppliers, partners, farmers and regional businesses a safe and merry Christmas.
