Australian Swimmer’s Patron Mrs. Gina Rinehart Attends Olympic Swimming Trials in Adelaide to Support Our Country’s Best Swimmers

On June 9, Hancock Prospecting Executive Chairman Mrs. Gina Rinehart, Australia’s Swimmers’ Patron and steadfast supporter of our nation’s athletes, attended the Australian Swimming Trials in Adelaide to cheer on the country’s best as they compete for a place on the Australian team heading to the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in July in Singapore.

Mrs. Rinehart was joined by swimming legend Dawn Fraser, Swimming Queensland board member Jeff Winnington – proud father of Olympian Elijah Winnington – as well as executives from Hancock Prospecting, swimmers’ families, and members of the swimming community, who all gathered in support of our country’s best swimmers. The event also welcomed the new Swimming Australia president, Sal, an ex-Olympic swimmer, whose leadership brings fresh energy to the sport.

A devoted champion of Australian sport, Mrs. Rinehart has stood firmly behind our swimmers for decades. Through both her personal support and her companies’ sponsorships, she has helped ease financial pressures for many athletes, enabling them to focus on their training and performance at the highest level.

Mrs. Rinehart and the Hancock Prospecting team wish all of our swimmers the very best as they continue their journey towards the World Championships, and beyond!
