NEW pink mining equipment on the way to Roy Hill

Under the exceptional leadership of Executive Chairman, Mrs Gina Rinehart AO, Roy Hill has strongly supported breast cancer patient care and research efforts, punctuated by the swathe of pink PPE and pink mining equipment, including haul trucks, locomotives, and ore cars, in use across our operations.

In an exciting development, a new pink asset is on its way to the Roy Hill mine. Built by local West Australian (Bunbury) based manufacturer, Piacentini & Son, the Panther Series II Low Loader has a striking pink livery and has been partnered with a pink 777 dump truck from WesTrac Cat. As part of the build, Piacentini & Son staff and suppliers raised $150,000 for breast cancer support.

In FY23 Roy Hill put more than $1.6 billion into the WA economy through the purchase of goods and services, that’s in addition to billions in wages, royalties, taxes, and license fees, and is pleased to have been able to further its investment in the south-west of the state.

And no celebration would be complete without scones with homemade jam by Bunbury Farmers Market and award-winning double cream from Bannister Downs Dairy, and of course, Australia’s best pies – Kidman Pies!
